K-Book Review, English Digital Magazine on Korean Literature and Publishing culture, to publish its first issue

Publishing Journal Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Yun-hee) will publish an English digital magazine K-Book Review, with its first issue being released in July 2013. The basic concept of K-Book Review is taken from The Korean Publishing Journal, Monthly, the only magazine focused on publishing in Korea and first published in 1987. The goal of the K-Book Review is to introduce Korean culture, especially its literature and publishing culture to the world.

The publishing of K-Book Review is possible as K-Book Review is selected as the recipient of the hallyu magazine support program sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Through this program, the Ministry hopes to make the excellence of Korean magazines known to the international magazine market, and create an important benchmark where various success models for overseas export of magazines are established.

K-Book Review will contribute in improving the high-class image of Korea and its culture through introducing books published in Korea, and thus become an important channel for the exporting Korean books overseas.
